Proxy formatter
Converts your list to the format your software needs. Runs in your browser, proxies stay with you.
How the proxy formatter operates
What is a formatter for proxies?
It rewrites your proxy list into the form your software expects. Pick a format, and host, port, username and password fall into the right order.
The proxies don't change, only the notation. Copy the result or download it as a file.
Why change the proxy format?
Anti‑detect browsers, scrapers and bots read proxies differently: some need host:port:user:pass, others user:pass@host:port, others socks5://. The formatter redoes a hundred lines in a second with no typos.
How does the formatter simplify work with long lists?
The format is detected per line, so lists from different providers can be mixed. Empty lines and # comments are skipped, and we show the numbers of unrecognized lines.
How do I avoid breaking the list while formatting it?
Compare the line count in and out. A password with a colon is kept whole in host:port:user:pass and user:pass@host:port.
If a proxy has no username and password, the format collapses to host:port, otherwise empty separators would break the import.
